I have always loved Pilates and it has been my passion for many years. I started practising Pilates in my late teens (I am now over 40!) and have been teaching Pilates for 14 years.
Before discovering Pilates, I used to work as a marketing director but after having my second child via caesarean section, and seeing the benefits of Pilates, I re-trained and focused on teaching Pilates and spreading its fitness benefits to others.
I love all kinds of movement and over the years it has been incredible to see how regular Pilates has transformed my clients' bodies with reduced back and shoulder pains, less injuries, improved posture and of course confidence and outlook in life.
I also teach children (my own 3 children can vouch for this!) and have Pre natal and Post natal certification and have helped many new mums regain their core and pelvic strength. I trained with Body Control Pilates 14 years ago and qualified as a Level 3 Matwork instructor and regularly attend refresher courses alongside my classes.
I believe it's important to have a balance in life through fitness and well being, and all movements (Pilates, swimming, walking which I love!), all contribute to a healthy mind, greater mobility and a balanced body free from aches & pains allowing for great enjoyment and of course more energy.
